Attachments by vehicle type
Your machine.
More useful work.
From a pedestrian power unit to a mower, tractor, telehandler or pickup: find the attachment range, then match the mounting, power and controls to your exact carrier.
Start with your carrier
Which machine do you want to put to work?
The vehicle determines how the attachment mounts, how it is powered and how the operator controls it. Choose a carrier route below to compare the relevant equipment, then confirm the complete installation for your model.
Walk-behind carriers and dedicated tools
Pedestrian machines
Choose compact machines for paths, gateways and areas where a larger carrier cannot work comfortably. Compare multi-attachment carriers with dedicated machines.
Sweeping · weed brushing · mowing · seasonal work
Fitment focus: Compare K-series hydraulic implement drive, UBS mechanical PTO and battery platforms; check the exact attachment system.

More work beyond grass cutting
Ride-on mowers
Use a compatible mower for sweeping, weed brushing, leaf clearance and winter duties while retaining control from the seat.
Sweepers · weed brushes · blowers · winter tools
Fitment focus: A mower-specific FKDR linkage and hydraulic package may be needed. A deck lift alone does not establish attachment compatibility.

Front and rear maintenance equipment
Compact tractors
Compare sweeping, weed removal, gravel renovation, vegetation work and winter attachments around the tractor you already operate.
Sweeping · gravel · weeds · leaves · snow and ice
Fitment focus: Choose the mounting position first, then match linkage, PTO or hydraulic drive, bracket and complete working load.

Larger sites and demanding material
Agricultural tractors
Put a larger tractor to work clearing road contamination, maintaining yards, restoring edges or carrying a wider treatment system.
Heavy sweepers · weed brushes · push brooms · electric treatment
Fitment focus: Higher tractor power does not replace correct hydraulic supply, floating geometry, brush pressure or load checks.

Cleaning around a working yard
Industrial forklifts
Choose a powered sweeper and collector when material must leave the surface, or a push broom when gathering it into a pile is sufficient.
Hydraulic sweeping · collection · unpowered push brooms
Fitment focus: Check fork dimensions, secure retention, load centre and working capacity; hydraulic tools also need a suitable supply.

Hydraulic sweeping and edge work
Telehandlers
Clear tracked-in mud, gather yard debris and tackle established edge growth with an attachment matched to the carrier.
Collecting sweepers · large rollers · weed-brush systems
Fitment focus: The coupler and floating connection matter. Boom position and ground contact must suit the attachment and surface.

Site transport with useful attachments
Utility vehicles and UTVs
Add sweeping, leaf clearance, snow ploughing or spreading to the vehicle used for moving between jobs around your site.
Kersten tools · Faulkner Brothers ploughs · Lehner spreaders
Fitment focus: Front linkage, receiver and bed-mounted systems need different checks. Continuous implement hydraulics may need an auxiliary system.

Mobile treatment and winter routes
Pickups, 4x4s and highway vehicles
Build a mobile maintenance setup for hot-water weed treatment and cleaning, snow clearance or salt spreading.
Eco Weedkiller PRO systems · Faulkner Brothers · Lehner

Front linkages, PTO and mounting brackets
Make the connection.
Then provide the working power.
A front linkage carries, lifts and positions an attachment. It does not automatically supply the power to turn a sweeper, blower or other driven implement. A front PTO kit or correctly specified hydraulic supply may also be required.
Most attachments do not bolt straight to the linkage. A carrier-to-attachment bracket is normally part of the installation, frequently identified by an ABR code. It provides the appropriate connection and, where specified, the movement needed for the tool to follow the surface.

Configured with controls and job-specific accessories.
Specify the chain as one working system. A linkage, PTO kit, mounting bracket and attachment can be separate items. A rear-mounted implement may use the tractor’s existing rear linkage and PTO; a passive push broom needs no powered brush drive. The required components depend on the actual tool and carrier.
FKDR mower conversions
A model-specific linkage and hydraulic package can provide lift and working oil for a compatible ride-on mower. Confirm the pump, reservoir, valves and attachment together.
Folger front-power systems
Compare carrier-specific front-linkage and PTO options. Select the coupling and supporting equipment around the actual attachment, as well as the carrier.
Fitting an attachment to a tractor or vehicle
Work through the installation in the right order.
Start with the task and the actual carrier. Build the connection and power system around the working tool, then commission the complete installation. The details below help you plan a quotation and fitting assessment; exact installation must follow the instructions for the carrier and supplied kit.
1. Record what is already fitted
Identify the model, year and variant. Photograph the front and rear connections, lift arms, PTO, hydraulic services and existing brackets. Note equipment you need to retain, such as a mid-mounted mower deck.
2. Choose the working position
Compare front visibility and access with rear-linkage use. Check clearance through the lift and steering range, the angled attachment width and the space needed for turning, parking and transport.
3. Establish the power route
For PTO drive, confirm position, speed, rotation and driveline geometry. For hydraulics, confirm continuous flow, pressure, return and control functions. An auxiliary pump or PTO-to-hydraulic system may form part of the installation.
4. Specify the connection and load
Match the linkage, ABR bracket, coupler or fork connection. Include the tool, collector contents, fuel, water or spreading material when checking lift capacity, axle loads, load centre and any ballast requirements.
5. Plan controls and installation
Confirm how the operator lifts, angles, drives and empties the attachment. Plan hose and cable routing, hydraulic connections and the required guarded driveline. Agree who will fit the kit and which instructions apply.
6. Commission it on the real job
Check connection and retention, clearances, operating functions and ground contact. Set support wheels, float and brush height for the surface. Demonstrate operation, attachment changes and the required maintenance with the operator.
Three common power arrangements
Direct mechanical PTO
The carrier drives a PTO-powered attachment through the specified driveline. The correct speed, direction, shaft geometry and guarding matter. A separate hydraulic service may still be needed for an adjustment or collector.
Carrier hydraulic drive
The vehicle supplies continuous working oil to a hydraulic attachment. Check the usable flow at the intended working speed, return arrangement and the functions needed alongside the main drive.
PTO-to-hydraulic or auxiliary power
A dedicated pump system can bridge a carrier and hydraulic tool. The Grillo and RTV examples show why this can be useful when the existing PTO position or hydraulic services do not directly suit the job.
Ground following is part of the fit. A heavy tractor or telehandler should carry the tool in the specified working geometry, rather than press its weight into the brush. Correct float, support and adjustment help the attachment follow the surface. Read Kersten’s KM Control guide.

Choosing attachments for an existing vehicle
Can I use my ride-on mower for sweeping or weed brushing?
Selected mowers can use a model-specific linkage and power package. The FKDR system provides this route for supported machines. Check the exact model, year, attachment and installation rather than assuming all mowers share the same fittings.
My UTV has hydraulics. Is that enough for a sweeper?
Check continuous flow, pressure, return and working speed. Services intended for lifting a bed or operating a cylinder may not supply the continuous drive needed by a sweeper. Some installations use an auxiliary hydraulic kit.
What if my machine is not in the Compatibility Centre?
Contact Kersten with the full model, year, photographs, available connection details and intended job. An unlisted model needs an assisted assessment; it should not be treated as either a confirmed fit or an automatic exclusion.
Are mounting parts and controls included in the attachment price?
They can be separate. Ask for the complete fitted specification, including linkage, PTO or hydraulic equipment, bracket, controls and accessories such as a collector or gully brush. The individual product listing may describe only the base attachment.
