Pedestrian & tractor-mounted snow blowers
Break up deep snow, lift it from the route and throw it where you need it.
Kersten two-stage pedestrian blowers for narrow paths and UBS power units, plus Cerruti mechanical snow blowers for ride-on mowers and compact tractors from 14–55 hp. Choose working widths from 600 mm to 2000 mm around access, carrier power and snowfall depth.
Choose the carrier and duty class first
Four routes into the snow-blower range.
The correct snow blower is driven by more than working width. Start with the carrier, the depth and density of the snow, how confined the route is and how frequently the machine will be used. Then match the width to the route without overloading the carrier.

Kersten pedestrian
Narrow paths and pedestrian access
600 and 800 mm two-stage attachments for UBS-series pedestrian power units. Direct PTO drive, adjustable skids and a manually rotatable discharge chute make these machines suitable where a tractor is simply too wide.

Cerruti Profy
High-output professional snow clearance
30–55 hp · 1400–2000 mm · 5 models. The heaviest-duty mechanical range uses a taller intake and larger snow-handling components on selected Profy models for long roads, yards, estates and contractor operations.
View Profy models →Plough or blower?
Use a blower when snow needs to leave the route, not just move sideways.
A plough is usually the fastest tool for ordinary snowfall when there is space to windrow it. A two-stage blower earns its place when accumulations become deep, snowbanks reduce the available route, or cleared snow must be thrown over a verge or away from entrances and parking areas.
The front auger cuts into the drift, breaks compacted snow and feeds it towards the centre of the machine instead of simply pushing the whole mass forward.
A separate impeller takes the gathered snow and throws it through the chute. Separating intake from discharge lets the machine handle much more snow than a single-stage paddle system.
Kersten pedestrian models use manual chute rotation; Cerruti tractor models use hydraulic chute rotation, with deflector adjustment available according to model and specification.
Pedestrian machines must match the UBS drive interface. Tractor models need the correct front linkage, PTO speed, PTO height and driveline geometry as well as sufficient power.

Kersten pedestrian snow blowers
Two-stage snow clearance where tractors cannot comfortably work.
UBS series · 600 / 800 mm · direct PTO drive
The Kersten SCHNFR pedestrian snow blowers bring the same two-stage principle to narrow paths, entrances and access routes. The front milling system breaks and gathers the snow, then the discharge fan sends it through a chute that can be rotated through 180°. Adjustable skids control ground clearance, while the splash guard protects the drive motor from thrown snow. This is the range to start with when manoeuvrability and path access matter more than maximum clearing width.

SCHNFR 060 M-U 70
The 600 mm model is the most access-focused snow blower in the range. Its compact width is suited to pedestrian routes, narrow gateways and sites where a tractor-mounted machine would remove too much manoeuvring space.
Why choose it: Direct PTO drive, a 39 cm milling wheel, height-adjustable skids and a manually rotatable discharge chute give a powered UBS unit genuine two-stage snow-removal capability without sacrificing narrow-route access.

SCHNFR 080 M-U 70
The 800 mm version increases the amount of path cleared on each pass while retaining the pedestrian format. It is the better starting point for wider footways, estate paths and access roads where the UBS carrier still offers a major manoeuvrability advantage.
Why choose it: The wider intake improves route productivity while retaining direct PTO drive, two-stage discharge, 180° chute rotation, adjustable skids and drive-motor snow protection.
Cerruti Basic
Compact carriers and tighter routes
14–40 hp · 900–1400 mm · 6 models
The Basic range is the compact end of Cerruti's mechanical-drive programme, aimed at smaller tractors and out-front carriers where access and available horsepower set the limit. Established B models use a 650 mm intake, 400 mm ice-breaking auger and 400 mm second-stage impeller, with a cast-iron gearbox and hydraulic chute rotation. That gives the range genuinely professional snow-flow hardware without forcing a small carrier into the mass and width of the heavier ranges.

Cerruti L 900 Basic
The narrowest Cerruti Basic for compact tractors, out-front mowers and confined winter routes. It gives small carriers a true two-stage mechanical blower rather than a light single-stage attachment, making it suitable for paths and entrances where snow must be lifted and thrown clear.
Why choose it: The smallest working width in the range makes it the easiest starting point where access and carrier size matter most.

Cerruti L 1000 Basic
A one-metre two-stage blower for small compact tractors and tighter estate or access routes. It adds useful route productivity while remaining narrow enough for sites where gates, parked vehicles and path geometry prevent a larger attachment from working efficiently.
Why choose it: Adds useful clearing width while remaining suitable for relatively small 16–25 hp carriers.

Cerruti L 1100 B
A compact-width Basic blower for smaller tractors that need more route coverage without moving into a heavier-duty frame. The 1.1 m width works well as a bridge between pedestrian-scale access and wider estate roads, while retaining the Basic family’s 400 mm snow-handling architecture on this established model.
Why choose it: A strong bridge between the narrow Basic machines and the wider 1.2–1.4 m options.

Cerruti L 1200 B
A versatile 1.2-metre blower for compact tractors and out-front mowers working paths, entrances and estate roads.
Why choose it: Broad enough for useful productivity while still fitting compact winter-maintenance routes.

Cerruti L 1300 B
A broader Basic model for compact tractors covering estate paths, access roads and larger paved areas.
Why choose it: More coverage per pass without stepping up to the taller Intermediate intake architecture.

Cerruti L 1400 B
The widest Basic model, designed for compact tractors that can use more clearing width while retaining the lighter-duty family.
Why choose it: Maximum width in the Basic range before moving into the higher-intake Intermediate class.
Cerruti Intermediate
Deeper snow and repeated duty
26–55 hp · 1300–1600 mm · 4 models
Intermediate increases the intake height and duty level for deeper accumulations and more frequent winter work. It is the natural step up when the Basic range is physically large enough but the snow load is becoming more demanding.

Cerruti Intermediate L 1300 I
The narrowest Intermediate machine, bringing the taller professional intake to routes where overall width is still constrained.
Why choose it: A 700 mm intake height gives more capacity for deeper accumulations than the Basic range.

Cerruti L 1400 I
A balanced Intermediate blower for compact and utility tractors working repeated winter routes.
Why choose it: Combines the higher-duty 700 mm intake with a manageable 1.4 m clearing width.

Cerruti Intermediate L 1500 I
A 1.5-metre Intermediate model for campuses, estates and contractors needing higher output without the largest Profy frame.
Why choose it: Useful step up in route productivity while retaining Intermediate-class dimensions.

Cerruti Intermediate L 1600 I
The widest Intermediate model for larger compact tractors and repeated professional winter work.
Why choose it: Maximum width in the Intermediate family, with the 700 mm intake and two-stage clearing system.
Cerruti Profy
High-output professional routes
30–55 hp · 1400–2000 mm · 5 models
Profy is the high-duty mechanical range for contractors, estates and municipal teams that need repeated output and the widest routes. The current professional specification uses a taller 760 mm intake and, on the Profy architecture, 450 mm auger and second-stage impeller components with welded supports and ice-breaking features. Hand-crank adjustable skids, hydraulic chute rotation and hydraulic deflector control support long shifts where throughput, discharge placement and durability matter more than minimum machine size.

Cerruti Profy L 1400 P
The most compact Profy model for high-duty snow removal on narrower professional routes. It brings the professional 760 mm intake and 450 mm auger/impeller architecture into a 1.4 m working width, making it the access-friendly entry point to the heaviest-duty family.
Why choose it: Moves into the heavier Profy architecture while retaining a 1.4 m footprint.

Cerruti Profy L 1500 P
A professional 1.5-metre blower for repeated estate, contractor and municipal snow clearance. It pairs Profy’s high-capacity intake and larger snow-handling components with a width that still suits many estate roads and compact-tractor routes.
Why choose it: High-duty build with useful width for frequent winter service.

Cerruti Profy L 1600 P
A 1.6-metre Profy machine for broad paths, access roads, commercial estates and municipal work. It is aimed at sustained professional use where wider passes, robust driveline components and controlled hydraulic discharge reduce the time needed to reopen a route.
Why choose it: A strong high-output middle ground in the Profy family.

Cerruti Profy L 1800 P
A high-coverage Profy blower for long roads, yards and larger winter-service areas. The 1.8 m width is about route throughput: fewer passes over long straight sections while retaining the two-stage process needed to move deep snow completely away from the working lane.
Why choose it: Cuts refill-free route time by covering substantially more width on every pass.

Cerruti Profy L 2000 P
The widest listed Profy model for maximum mechanical-drive snow-clearing productivity. At 2.0 m it is aimed at high-capacity carriers working large yards, roads and commercial sites where reducing passes is worth the additional width and power requirement.
Why choose it: Two metres of working width for large roads, yards and high-output contractor or municipal routes.
Why a professional two-stage blower works differently
Snow flow, discharge control and carrier integration determine real performance.
Working width is only one part of the machine. The intake must accept the drift, the auger must keep dense or compacted material moving, the second-stage impeller must generate enough discharge velocity, and the complete driveline must be correctly matched to the carrier.
Two separate snow-handling stages
The front auger gathers and breaks up the snow rather than relying on the discharge fan to do both jobs. The second-stage impeller then accelerates that prepared flow through the chute, improving capacity in deeper accumulations.
Choose intake size for the drift
Kersten pedestrian units prioritise narrow access. Cerruti Basic moves into compact-tractor capacity, Intermediate raises intake height to 700 mm, and Profy is designed for the deepest and highest-output work in the mechanical range.
Put the discharged snow somewhere useful
Manual chute control on the pedestrian range and hydraulic control on Cerruti machines allow the operator to place snow away from doorways, parked vehicles, traffic lanes and the route that has just been cleared.
Correct drive speed protects performance
Mechanical tractor blowers depend on the front linkage, PTO speed and PTO height being compatible with the chosen machine. A poor driveline match can limit discharge performance even when tractor horsepower looks sufficient on paper.
Complete winter route
Blow, plough or prevent the ice forming.
A snow blower is one part of a winter-maintenance system. Link the same route to the appropriate plough and spreader equipment depending on snowfall depth and surface condition.
Technical FAQs
Common snow-blower selection questions.
When should I choose a Kersten pedestrian snow blower?
Choose the pedestrian range when the route is too narrow or confined for a tractor but the snow is deep enough that a plough or brush would simply build banks at the edge. The 600 and 800 mm UBS attachments give pedestrian access a powered two-stage option with controlled discharge.
When should I use a snow blower rather than a plough?
Use a blower where snow is deep enough to feed consistently and where it needs to be thrown away from the cleared route. A plough remains faster for ordinary snowfall where there is somewhere to windrow or stack it.
Which Cerruti range should I start with?
Basic suits smaller carriers and tighter routes, Intermediate steps up for deeper accumulations and repeated winter duty, and Profy is the highest-output mechanical range for professional work.
Do I need a front linkage and PTO?
The mechanical-drive compact-tractor models require a suitable front linkage and PTO arrangement. Kersten should confirm tractor model, horsepower, linkage and PTO provision before supply.
Can Cerruti handle wet and heavy snow?
The two-stage system is specifically suited to deeper and heavier snow because the front auger breaks it up and meters it into the discharge impeller.
What is the difference between Basic and Intermediate?
Basic is the compact mechanical range for smaller carriers and access-sensitive routes. Intermediate raises intake height to 700 mm and uses a 400 mm ice-breaking auger and second-stage impeller, so it can accept a deeper face of snow and is better suited to repeated winter duty.
What makes Profy different?
Profy is the professional mechanical range, extending to 2.0 m working width and using the most substantial snow-handling architecture for repeated high-output work.
