Professional pedestrian power units
One power unit. A year-round grounds-maintenance platform.
Choose a two-wheel tractor around the attachments you need, the weight of work you expect and where the machine will operate. From compact hydraulic Kersten machines to heavy-duty mechanical PTO and fully electric platforms, the right carrier can sweep, weed, mow and work through winter.
Start with the work you need to do
Which type of two-wheel tractor fits your operation?
The biggest difference is not simply engine size. It is how the machine drives its attachments, what connection system it uses, and how much work you expect it to carry through the year.

Understand the drive system
Hydraulic implement drive or mechanical / electric PTO?
Choose the carrier around the implement workload. That makes a bigger difference to day-to-day usefulness than buying on horsepower alone.
Hydraulic attachment drive
K-Series and E-Series. Particularly useful for controllable sweeping, weed brushing and surface maintenance. The hydraulic architecture removes belts from many attachment-drive duties and allows fine matching of travel and implement speed.
Mechanical PTO
UBS-Series. The stronger route when you need to run a wider range of high-load attachments such as flails, drum mowers, power harrows and other mechanically driven tools.
Electric PTO
Matador M-Trac. A heavy-duty battery option with variable PTO speed and 70 mm attachment compatibility for teams wanting electric operation without limiting the machine to lighter hydraulic attachments.
Compare the ranges
Choose the smallest power unit that comfortably covers your heaviest regular task.
A more powerful carrier can widen your attachment choices, but size, access, transport and operator handling still matter. If most work is compact sweeping and weed control, a lighter platform can be the better tool.

Questions to settle before you order.
Should I choose K-Series or UBS?
Choose K-Series when hydraulic surface-maintenance attachments make up most of the workload and compactness is important. Move toward UBS when you need a mechanical PTO for heavier mowing, soil-engaging, gravel or other high-load attachments.
Why does 35 mm vs 70 mm matter?
The quick-attach size determines which attachment families connect directly to the carrier. K820, K820 Pro, K1500 and their electric counterparts use the compact 35 mm route, while K2100, UBS and M-Trac use the larger 70 mm platform. Always confirm the exact attachment and drive requirement before ordering.
Can one machine really work all year?
Yes, if the carrier is selected around the attachment range you actually need. Sweeping and weed management can dominate spring and summer; mowing, artificial-surface work and gravel maintenance can broaden seasonal use; ploughs, snow blowers and spreaders can extend the same platform into winter.
When does electric make sense?
Electric power units are particularly useful where local emissions, noise, early starts or work around schools, housing and public spaces are important. The correct choice still depends on attachment load and required runtime, so battery capacity should be considered as part of the whole machine-and-attachment package.
Which machine should I choose for slopes?
Do not choose on a headline slope figure alone. Attachment weight, surface condition, tyres, direction of travel and operator position all affect suitability. The UBS Alpin models are specifically built around demanding slope work; discuss the real site and attachment with Kersten before specifying a machine for steep terrain.
