Manuals & technical documents

What machine are you looking after?

Search the directory below, or narrow it down by brand, equipment and document type. Your power unit and its attachment may each have a separate manual.

Check the cover before using a manual. Match the model, serial-number range and revision to your machine. Some directory entries share a PDF; a matching search result alone does not confirm that the document is suitable.

Find the document that matches your machine

A familiar model name is a good starting point. These three checks help you choose the right information.

Read the identification plate

Note the manufacturer, full model designation and serial number. Check the attachment’s plate too: the carrier and implement are separate pieces of equipment.

Check the version

Compare the manual’s cover, revision and any stated serial-number range with your machine. Machines with similar names can use different components or controls.

Choose instructions or parts

Use the operating manual for setup, safe use and maintenance. Use the relevant parts list to identify components and diagram references before enquiring about a replacement.

Fitting & compatibility

A manual is only part of the fitting picture

When adding an attachment, check the complete combination: carrier, mounting system, power supply and implement. An operating manual does not confirm that an attachment fits every vehicle.

  • Confirm the carrier model and the attachment’s mounting interface.
  • Check the required PTO or hydraulic arrangement against the actual machine.
  • For tractor front equipment, identify the linkage and the carrier or attachment bracket. Many arrangements need an ABR bracket between the linkage and implement.

Planning a tractor installation?

Understand the complete connection from tractor to front linkage, power supply, mounting bracket and attachment. Have your tractor details ready before choosing the equipment.

Whether you need a wear part, a document or advice, start with the machine’s full details.

Need a replacement part?

Send the model, serial number, manual reference and diagram item number if available. A photograph of the part and identification plate can help us confirm what is required.

Manuals: common questions

Why are there several documents for the same model?

A model can have separate operating instructions, spare parts lists and assembly instructions. There may also be documents for different revisions or serial-number ranges. Check the document itself before following instructions or ordering parts.

Can I find instructions for both a power unit and its attachments?

Yes. Search for the power unit first, then search for each attachment by its own model designation. For example, a UBS power unit and its sweeper can have different instruction manuals and parts lists.

What if my manual is missing or the PDF does not look right?

Open “Document details” to check the original listing. If the model, revision or language is unclear, contact Kersten with the full model and serial number. Do not assume a similar-looking machine uses the same document.

Why are Meyer documents still listed?

The “Legacy Meyer” filter retains documents for owners of older equipment. These are support resources for existing machines. The presence of a manual does not indicate that the machine or its parts are currently available.

Does a parts list confirm a part is available?

No. Parts lists help identify components, but availability and any superseded part numbers need checking. Include the machine serial number and the relevant diagram reference when asking about a replacement.
