Match the brush to the work
Different contact. Different result.
Replacing a worn part is also a chance to check whether its material and pattern suit the job. The most aggressive brush is not automatically the right choice.
Poly combi rollers
For routine sweeping and moving loose detritus. The gaps in the spiral rows give material space to move, helping the brush handle bulky debris rather than simply polishing over it.
Choose when: renewing the general-purpose roller on a matching sweeper. Check both width and roller diameter.

A specialist nylon roller for moss-removal work on suitable surfaces. It offers a different brush action from the normal sweeping roller; it is not an interchangeable size choice for every sweeper.

Replace the brush you need—not the holder you already have
Steel Versa is the versatile option for weed, moss and soil removal. Nylon Versa offers a less aggressive contact option where appropriate. Hausa uses a heavy-duty cable brush for demanding deposits and path-edge work.
Kersten’s revised Hausa design separates the wearing cable from its mounting housing. If your machine already has the compatible reusable housing, you may only need the replacement cable brush.

The older one-piece reference 700 000 136 was replaced by the revised assembly. Check which version is on your machine before choosing the replacement.

Four checks that prevent the wrong replacement

Help the new consumable last
Correct setup matters as much as fitting a fresh brush. Use the operating instructions for your particular machine and attachment.
Set the contact pressure
Follow the machine’s brush-height and contact settings. Excessive pressure is not a substitute for the right brush and can increase wear. Adjust the collector and side brush as required by the manual.
Inspect the complete fitting
Check holders, guards and fastening components when inspecting wear parts. For mowers, confirm the correct blade pattern and replacement method rather than mixing unmatched parts around the rotor.
Check the surface and storage
Choose the brush for the surface condition and test a small area where appropriate. Follow the storage instructions so the machine’s weight is not left resting on a sweeping roller.

Can I choose a replacement brush using width alone?
No. Confirm the attachment model, part number, width, roller diameter and mounting. The same width can occur in different sweeper series. Use the parts manual or ask us to identify the part.
Is a Hausa replacement the same as a complete assembly?
No. The revised assembly is 700 000 136A. Its replaceable cable brush is 106 780 200, while C10487 is the mounting housing. Check the holder already fitted before ordering.
Do I need to replace every weed-brush section?
Inspect the full head and follow its maintenance instructions. The quantity and arrangement depend on the model and head version. Do not assume one listed brush is a complete replacement set.
Why do some products show “Confirm price”?
Some current listings have no usable published price or a £0.00 placeholder. We show “Confirm price” for those items. The enquiry link includes the product name and part number so we can confirm the correct item, quantity and price.
Are blades, mallets and complete sets priced the same way?
No. Individual blades and mallets are listed alongside items described as sets. Check the linked product’s supply quantity and any required stirrups or fixings before ordering. Left- and right-hand rotary blades must also match the mower model.
What should I include in an enquiry?
Use the enquiry link on the relevant product card. Add the machine and attachment model, serial number, required quantity, and any parts-diagram reference. If the part is uncertain, photographs of the identification plate, mounting and worn item help us identify it.
