Kersten K-series hydraulic two-wheel tractors
One power unit.
A year of useful work.
Sweep paths, brush weeds, maintain artificial surfaces and prepare for winter with a matched attachment system. Compare four compact petrol power units around your jobs and access.
Choose the carrier around the job
Four K-series power units. Two attachment interfaces.
Start with the work you need the attachment to do. Then choose the carrier’s connection system, engine, controls and complete working dimensions.

Petrol · hydraulic wheel and implement drive
K820
Choose it when: Smaller sites and light general maintenance call for a compact entry-level power unit.
K820 Pro shown with an attachment. Price below is the linked power-unit listing.
Petrol · hydraulic wheel and implement drive
K820 Pro
Choose it when: A compact forward/reverse carrier suits regular sweeping, a matched weedbrush and other listed tools.
K1500 shown with an attachment. Price below is the linked power-unit listing.
Petrol · hydraulic wheel and implement drive
K1500
Choose it when: You want a GX industrial engine, adjustable controls and a 35 mm system for routine professional maintenance.
K2100 shown with an attachment. Price below is the linked power-unit listing.
Petrol · hydraulic wheel and implement drive
K2100
Choose it when: Your attachment plan includes the 70 mm De-Moss sweeper, wider turf tools or a cylinder mower.
Build a complete working package. Ask for the power unit, tyres, attachment, mounting components, hydraulic connections and options to be itemised. The working setup will be wider, longer and heavier than the power unit alone.
Specifications shown are from the linked UK listings. Confirm the current engine, wheel specification, supplied weight and attachment requirements before ordering.
Why the drive system matters
Give the attachment time to do its job.
Control the cleaning pace
Infinitely variable wheel speed lets you slow down where a brush needs more time to work. Match the attachment’s settings to the material and the surface.
Hydraulic implement power
The K-series uses hydraulic power for its driven attachments. The drive arrangement avoids belts in the main hydraulic transmission; service needs still depend on the complete machine and implement.
Change the task
The quick-change mount, hydraulic couplings and support stand help with attachment changes. Adjustable handlebars and a differential aid handling on varied sites.
Wheel-speed control and attachment-speed control are separate functions. Confirm which implement-speed controls are included or optional on the power unit quoted.
Choose the job, then the attachment
A working system for paths, grounds and winter routes.
Choose the task first, then the exact carrier-specific version. These examples have their own product links and prices; they are attachment listings, separate from the power units.
K2100 sweeping: the EFKM 90 De-Moss → is a separate 90 cm attachment with a 70 mm mount and a dedicated nylon-brush configuration. Confirm collector and gully-brush options separately.
Artificial surfaces need different brush actions
Grooming, agitation and debris removal are different jobs.
Groom and redistribute
A wide static brush is primarily for routine grooming: lifting the pile and redistributing infill that has moved during play.
Compare wide-area brushes →Agitate with a powered brush
A reciprocating brush provides a more active brushing action for the specified grooming or top-dressing task. Match the setup to the surface maintenance plan.
Compare reciprocating brushes →Remove contamination
A matched sweeper can remove debris, loosen and redistribute infill, and help recover contaminated surfaces. Collection removes the loosened material from the site.
Compare powered sweepers →Water-based hockey surfaces, sand-filled turf and rubber-crumb systems need different maintenance settings. Provide the surface type, infill and condition when choosing brushes and collection equipment.
Selected hydraulic mowing options
Choose the cut as carefully as the carrier.
Hydraulic implement drive also supports selected mowing attachments. Choose the cutting method and carrier-specific fitting package.
The complete attachment connection
Match the mount, drive and power requirement together.
35 mm · K820, K820 Pro, K1500
The smaller interface serves these compact K-series power units. Attachments still have carrier-specific mounting and power requirements: a shared connection size does not make every tool interchangeable.
The current 50 cm WKBH-II listings distinguish K820 Pro and K1500 mounting versions. Ask about the appropriate weedbrush for a K820 or an older machine.
70 mm · K2100
The K2100 uses the larger quick-change interface with hydraulic implement drive. Its listed attachment options include De-Moss sweeping, folding and reciprocating turf brushes, and a hydraulic cylinder mower.
A 70 mm mechanical-PTO attachment is not made compatible simply by matching the coupling diameter.
Machine and generation
Give the full model and serial number, especially when reusing an older attachment or ordering parts.
Mount and hydraulics
Match connection diameter, flange or bracket, hose couplings, oil flow, pressure and the attachment’s controls.
Working dimensions
Check the complete unit through gateways, around corners, into storage and onto transport.
Complete quotation
Confirm tyres, brush type, collector, mounting equipment and any brake or implement-control options.

Before you choose
Your K-series questions answered.
Is the K-series a hydraulic tractor or a mechanical-PTO tractor?
The petrol K-series models shown here use hydraulic wheel drive and hydraulic power for their driven implements. A mechanical PTO attachment needs the appropriate carrier and connection; coupling diameter alone is insufficient.
Which machines use 35 mm and which use 70 mm?
K820, K820 Pro and K1500 use the 35 mm quick-change interface. K2100 uses 70 mm. Confirm the complete bracket, drive and hydraulic requirements for each attachment.
Does the quoted power-unit price include the pictured attachment?
The prices are attached to individual product listings. Ask for a complete itemised quotation covering the power unit, wheels, attachment, mounting equipment and options. Do not assume that a pictured sweeper or snow blade is included.
Can I use the same weedbrush on K820 Pro and K1500?
Do not assume a direct swap. The current WKBH-II 50 cm products have separate K820 Pro and K1500 mounting listings. Provide both machine and brush details to confirm any adaptation.
Can one unit handle summer and winter work?
A matched system can change between sweeping, brush maintenance, selected mowing and winter attachments. Confirm each tool’s carrier fitment, working dimensions and power requirements before specifying the package.
Is attachment speed adjustable on every configuration?
Wheel speed is infinitely variable on the models shown. Attachment-speed controls depend on the unit and options supplied, so confirm the implement-control arrangement in the quotation.
Can a battery-powered carrier use hydraulic attachments?
Yes. Kersten’s E-series uses battery power with hydraulic drive architecture for its matched implements. Battery power does not automatically mean an electric implement PTO.
