The pedestrian range
Choose the brush.
Match the drive.
Start with your power unit, then choose a standard roller for regular sweeping or a De-Moss roller for more demanding moss work. Working width alone does not determine compatibility.
7 sweeper options. Attachment prices exclude VAT and the power unit. Photographs may show optional equipment.
K820 · K820 Pro · K1500
EFKM 09032 H-K 35
Standard five-row poly combi brush. A practical starting point for sweeping loose debris and light moss.
Choose it when: you need a compact sweeper for paths, courtyards and regular site cleaning on a K35 power unit.
K2100
EFKM 10037 H-KU 70
The larger roller and hydraulic implement drive suit regular sweeping, with optional collection and edge cleaning.
Choose it when: your K2100 needs a wider general-purpose brush for paths, estates and hard-surface maintenance.
UBS Hydro 9 / 13 / 16
EFKM 10037 M-U 70
General sweeping with a five-row poly combi brush. Match the PTO drive as well as the mounting connection.
Choose it when: you want a 1-metre sweeper that matches the mechanical implement drive on your UBS Hydro.
UBS Hydro 9 / 13 / 16
EFKM 12537 M-U 70
A wider UBS sweeper for sports areas and site maintenance. Allow for the complete machine width, especially with a gully brush.
Choose it when: open areas reward a wider pass and your gateways, storage and working space can accommodate it.
K2100
De-Moss 90
Specialist five-row nylon brush for more demanding moss work. Follow removal with collection of the loosened material.
Choose it when: moss removal is the main task and you have a K2100 hydraulic power unit.
UBS Hydro 9 / 13 / 16
De-Moss 100
Specialist five-row nylon brush. Set brush contact to suit the surface and take particular care on painted courts.
Choose it when: your UBS Hydro needs a specialist moss brush rather than a standard general sweeping roller.
UBS Alpin II 23 / 23 Pro
EFKM 13045 M-U 70
Choose it when: you need the larger-diameter roller and 130 cm coverage on a compatible Alpin power unit.
K70 mounting bracket listed as included. Check access with the complete machine: the published overall sweeper width is 140 cm.
Contact Kersten for model-specific photographs and an Alpin fitment check.
Built around the material
Move heavy debris.
Keep the brush working.
The five spiral rows leave room between the bristles for material to move. As the roller turns, contact progresses across the width, helping shift soil and debris without loading the whole brush face at once.
Adjust brush height for the surface and bristle wear. Angle the roller left or right to windrow material, or fit the matching collector when you need to remove it from site.
Removing detritus helps limit the soil and moisture-holding organic layer that supports moss and weeds. Regular collection makes sweeping part of a preventative maintenance plan.
A standard poly combi roller handles general sweeping. Specialist De-Moss nylon is for tougher moss work; use appropriate brush contact on vulnerable surfaces.
A gully brush draws material from kerbs and fence lines into the main roller’s path. A collector then removes it, rather than leaving a strip of debris behind.
Power unit + connection + drive
Which sweeper suits your carrier?
A 70 mm connection can appear on both hydraulic and PTO-driven attachments. Check the implement power supply as well as the mounting system.

Check your exact model before ordering. For an electric carrier, Matador M-Trac, older UBS machine or modified attachment, confirm the connection, drive and any adapter requirements. Share the serial number and photographs so the complete combination can be checked.
Make the sweeper work for your site
Collect, clean edges and control dust.
Choose options for the material you handle and the places it collects. Collector width, brush diameter and accessory drive must suit the individual sweeper.
90 cm · adjusting brackets included
SSB 090 K collector
Collect the material you loosen, rather than leave it on the surface. Match the collector to the sweeper width; a 100 cm version is also available.
90 cm · separation collector
SSB 090 B-KR sports collector
For collecting contamination on infilled artificial surfaces. Confirm the separation setup for your infill and debris; it is not a substitute for assessing the surface.
Ø 40 cm · hydraulic drive
ASH 403237 gully brush
Draw debris away from kerbs and walls into the main roller’s path. Adjustable height and angle, with controlled hydraulic speed. Listed for 32 / 37 cm sweepers.
Ø 40 cm · mechanical drive
ASM 403237 gully brush
A mechanically driven edge brush, powered through the broom shaft. Listed on UBS 100 / 125 cm sweeper pages. Confirm the correct drive arrangement for your attachment.
WAS 51 K 1500 · water sprayer
5-litre dust suppression kit
Apply water to help control airborne dust when sweeping dry material. Check mounting and operation for your power unit; brush speed and site conditions also matter.
90 cm · front debris guard
GUSPL 090 brush guard
Use the correct-width guard when sweeping without a collector to help contain thrown material. Other widths are listed with their corresponding sweepers.
Need another width? SSB 100 K collector and 100 cm sports separation collector options are available. Check the individual sweeper page for 125 cm collectors and the correct guard or side-brush kit.

Artificial turf and sports courts
Remove contamination.
Protect the surface.
A powered sweeper can remove organic debris and help loosen or redistribute infill. That makes it useful for regular cleaning and for recovering areas affected by moss — with the brush and settings chosen for the surface.
Static wide-area brushes are primarily for regular grooming and infill redistribution. Use a sweeper where you also need powered brushing and contamination removal.
Powered reciprocating brushes provide more active agitation and top-dressing work. Match the tool to what the pitch needs, rather than treating every brush as interchangeable.
Water-based hockey surfaces, sand-filled turf, rubber-crumb infill and painted porous courts need different settings. Confirm the brush, collector and maintenance method with the surface supplier.
Painted court? De-Moss bristles need careful adjustment to avoid excessive wear on the coating. Kersten’s painted porous tarmac court guide explains the difference between standard and De-Moss rollers.

Before you choose your sweeper.
Is an EFKM a complete walk-behind machine?
No. These are sweeper attachments for a compatible two-wheel tractor. The prices shown are for the listed attachment or option; the power unit and additional accessories are separate unless the product page states otherwise.
Does every EFKM use hydraulic brush drive?
No. The K-series models shown use hydraulic implement drive. The M-U models and De-Moss 100 listed for UBS Hydro use mechanical PTO drive. Hydraulic travel on a power unit does not mean every attachment is hydraulically powered.
Can I change between a standard and De-Moss roller?
Replacement rollers are listed for the relevant sweepers, but width and diameter must match. Use the exact model and serial number to confirm the correct roller before ordering. A different brush does not change the sweeper’s drive or carrier fitment.
Can a sweeper remove all established weeds?
Sweeping removes debris and helps prevent the build-up that supports weed growth. De-Moss rollers add a specialist moss-removal option. Established weeds, joints and difficult edges may need a weed brush or another treatment, followed by collection.
Should I use a collector on artificial turf?
Use a collection setup suited to the surface and contamination. A sports separation collector can help manage debris on infilled surfaces; confirm its suitability for the infill material. Set brush contact carefully and follow the surface supplier’s maintenance guidance.
Can I use the sweeper for snow?
Kersten documents pedestrian sweeping for winter footpaths. Suitability depends on the snow and site conditions. For deeper or compacted snow, discuss a plough or snow blower; sweeping does not remove the need to manage ice.
How do I reduce dust and brush wear?
Use only the brush contact needed for the task, adjust height as bristles wear and inspect the roller regularly. On hydraulic models, adjust implement speed to suit the material. A correctly fitted water spray kit can help control dust in dry conditions.
What details should I send for a fitment check?
Send the power-unit model and serial number, mounting connection, implement drive, working width and any options already fitted. Include photographs if the carrier or attachment has been modified.
