Start with the job
Choose what your F-Series does next
A sweeper removes loose build-up. A weed brush tackles established growth. A hot-air burner treats young weeds and moss without chemicals. A blower moves leaves before they become a heavier cleaning job. Match the attachment to the result you need, then check the complete fitting.

Winter · two-stage snow blowing
Cerruti L 1400 B
140 cm working width · mechanical drive
Choose it when deeper snow or limited space for windrows makes a snow blower more useful than pushing with a blade.
Two-stage design with hydraulic chute rotation and deflector adjustment. Match the PTO, mounting, weight and control requirements to the exact F-Series model.
£7,150.00 ex VAT
Listed product price
Snow blower listing. Carrier-specific mounting, PTO and hydraulic services must be included in the final specification.
All prices exclude VAT. F-Series mounting frames, carrier-specific drive arrangements, controls and optional equipment may be additional. Prices refresh from the product pages on kerstenuk.com; open the listing or request a quotation to confirm the latest configuration and price.
The connection matters
Lift arms, mounting frame, drive. One matched system.
The F-Series already has front lift arms and a PTO for its mower deck. For the published Kersten installations, the attachment replaces the deck and connects through the appropriate mower mounting frame.
The PTO supplies the powered implement. Its shaft, speed, rotation and drive arrangement must match the attachment; a generic tractor PTO configuration should not be assumed to fit.
Kubota lists a 2,545 rpm front PTO for the F251 / F391 range. That is why the mower-specific drive specification matters as much as the mounting bracket.
Which F-Series models should I ask about?
The current Kersten application page names F251-E, F251, F391 and F3890. Published installations also reference models including F2560, F2680E, F2880, F3060, F3680, F2690 and F3090.
This is a starting list, not confirmation that every attachment fits every model. Send the complete model, year or serial number, and details of any hydraulic kit or cab. The UB 6080 MH listing specifies 30–60 hp, so it must not be treated as an automatic choice for a 25 hp F251.
A PTO sweeper is not a hydraulic sweeper
The KM45 M models use mechanical PTO drive. Hydraulic H models require an adequate hydraulic supply. Having hydraulic lift arms does not mean the mower has the continuous oil flow needed to power a hydraulic attachment.
The MH weed brush brings its own hydraulic system
In the published UB 6080 MH installation, the mower PTO drives a hydraulic pump connected to the attachment’s reservoir. This supplies the brush system and its functions, with a joystick mounted at the operator’s position.
Collection changes the specification
The F-Series sweeper case study specifies an additional Kubota hydraulic kit for opening and closing the collector. Check the loaded attachment weight, not just the empty sweeper: wet soil and grit add load quickly.

Do I need to buy a separate front linkage?
For the published F-Series sweeper and weed-brush installations, the mower’s existing lift arms are used with a suitable attachment frame. This differs from fitting a front linkage to a compact tractor. The correct ABR frame and drive arrangement still need to be specified for your mower.
Which is better: the 1.3 m or 1.5 m sweeper?
The 1.5 m model covers a wider strip and is shown in the F-Series case study. The 1.3 m option can be worth considering for restricted access or heavier collected material. Check overall width, width when angled, lifting limits and the weight of a full collector before deciding.
Can I fit a collector without additional hydraulics?
The published F-Series sweeper installation calls for a Kubota hydraulic kit to open and close the collector. Confirm what is already fitted to your mower and the requirements of the collector being supplied. The base machine’s lifting function should not be confused with an auxiliary hydraulic service.
Is the UB 6080 MH suitable for every F-Series?
No universal fit should be assumed. Kersten has published a successful F-Series installation, but the current attachment listing specifies 30–60 hp and the final arrangement includes the mounting frame, brush plate and controls. A smaller model such as the 25 hp F251 needs a specific suitability check.
Can a blower replace a sweeper?
A blower moves loose leaves and light material to another suitable location. A sweeper physically brushes the surface and can collect the debris when fitted with the right box. Embedded soil, moss and established weeds require a different level of mechanical action; choose around what needs removing and where it will go.
What should I send for a fitting quotation?
Send the full Kubota model, year or serial number, the job and surface, available access width, and details of hydraulic services or a cab. Photographs of the front lift arms and PTO connection help identify the mounting and drive arrangement. Include the intended accessories so the loaded configuration can be checked.
