The linkage provides the lift and coupling. The ABR bracket connects the attachment to that coupling. The drive system provides the working power. We specify all of them together for your tractor.
One heavy-duty linkage across the range. The FL KUB B2650-1 front linkage fits the B2231, B2261 and B2311 as well as the earlier B2350, B2650 and B3150. It lifts 800 kg and comes with a Cat 0 A-frame, which takes the ABR 45 KD bracket used by KM45 sweepers.
Which B-Series models does it suit?
The heavy-duty front linkage is listed for the B2231, B2261, B2311, B2350, B2650 and B3150. Before we quote, we check your exact version and serial number, confirm current prices and delivery times, and look for any quirks on your tractor.
1. Rear PTO: avoid a front conversion
The B2261 has a 540 rpm rear PTO and a Category 1 hitch lifting around 970 kg at the ends. Rear sweepers, gravel renovators and mowers work from the back of the tractor.
2. Front hydraulics: pipe forward from the rear valves
The front linkage doesn’t include hydraulic services, so it runs from the front loader valve or pipework from the rear valves. The same supply can drive a KM 13045 H, which needs 20 l/min; we check your tractor’s available flow.
3. Front mechanical PTO: engine-driven
The FPTO KUB B2650-1 front PTO kit is engine-driven and built into the front axle carrier, giving 1,000 rpm. Attachments need a matching gearbox. Edinburgh’s weed brushes run from this kit.

The heavy-duty linkage lifts 800 kg. Allow for the attachment, bracket, a full collector, water tanks or gas bottles when specifying the complete setup.

What can a B-Series do with Kersten attachments?
With a front linkage and the right drive, a B-Series becomes a tool carrier with lift, lower and angling functions. It can sweep, remove weeds and moss without herbicide, blow leaves, treat weeds thermally, renovate gravel, clear snow and cut rough grass.
Can a B-Series replace glyphosate on paths and pavements?
Edinburgh Council run B-Series tractors with front UB 6080 MH weed brushes and rear HKM sweepers to collect the arisings, and recorded fewer weed complaints as they reduced glyphosate. Read the case study for the full installation.
Which drive should I choose for a front attachment?
A hydraulic sweeper such as the KM 13045 H runs from the tractor’s own hydraulics, piped forward from the rear or loader valves. Heavier work such as weed brushing suits the engine-driven 1,000 rpm front PTO kit. We’ll recommend the right route for your tractor and job.
