For most front attachments, the complete installation is:
The linkage provides the lift and coupling. The ABR bracket connects the attachment to that coupling. The drive system provides the working power. We specify all of them together for your tractor.
Matev front linkage for the 2032R, 2036R and 2038R. The FL JD 20363832R lifts 1,500 kg at the coupling point and takes a Cat 0 A-frame, which matches the ABR 45 KD bracket used by KM45 sweepers. The 2025R and 2026R have their own kit.
2025R, 2026R, 2032R, 2036R or 2038R?
The 2032R, 2036R and 2038R share one front linkage; the 2025R and 2026R use the FL JD 2026R kit. Before we quote, we check your exact version and serial number, confirm current prices and delivery times, and look for any quirks on your tractor, so what arrives fits first time.
1. Rear PTO: avoid a front conversion
The 2038R has an independent 540 rpm rear PTO and a Category 1 hitch. The HKM 15040 M in our case study runs here, alongside the mid deck, as do gravel renovators and rear mowers.
2. Front hydraulics: keep the mower deck
A KM 15045 H runs from the tractor’s hydraulics, so the mid deck can stay on. The 2038R’s implement pump gives about 20 l/min, matching the 20 l/min the KM45 needs; the hydraulic extension kit brings the services to the front.
3. Front mechanical PTO: for blowers and snow
The front mid PTO kit takes drive forward from the mid PTO for the LBV leaf blower, Cerruti snow blower and UB 6080 MH weed brush. A front PTO sweeper can’t run with the mid deck fitted, so it takes time to change over.
Check the lift capacity
Allow for the attachment, bracket, a full collector, water tanks or gas bottles when specifying the complete setup. The Matev linkage lifts 1,500 kg at the coupling point.

What can a 2 Series do with Kersten attachments?
With a front linkage and the right drive, a 2 Series becomes a year-round tool carrier. It can sweep, remove weeds and moss without herbicide, blow leaves, treat weeds thermally, renovate gravel and clear snow, and still cut grass in summer.
Can I keep the mower deck on and sweep?
Yes, with a hydraulic front sweeper or any rear PTO attachment. The HKM 15040 M in our 2038R case study runs from the rear PTO alongside the mid deck. A front PTO sweeper can’t run with the deck fitted.
Front or rear sweeper?
A front sweeper gives you a clear view and works into corners; a rear HKM 15040 M, as in our 2038R case study, keeps the front free and works alongside the mid deck. We’ll recommend the right one for your site.
