Weedo II · dedicated pedestrian weed brushes
Clear the weeds.
Lift the moss.
Reclaim the surface.
A compact, dedicated 50 cm weed brush for paved areas, kerb lines and contractors moving between small sites. Choose petrol or battery power, then match the brush to the material you need to remove.
The current Weedo range
Petrol or electric: the same dedicated job.
Both models have their own power source and hydraulic brush drive. They are operator-guided machines with no powered wheel drive: the rotating brush assists movement, while you guide the machine and control progress through brush contact.

Weedo II · petrol
Choose it when: you want a dedicated weed brush with petrol refuelling for a route of small paved sites.

Weedo II E · battery electric
Choose it when: you want battery operation without petrol-engine exhaust at the point of use, and can plan charged battery pairs around your route.
Batteries and charger are separately listed. Two EGO 56 V batteries are required. See the 12 Ah battery and 700 W charger below.

Remove more than the visible growth
Lift the material that helps weeds establish.
Established moss and weeds
The rotating weed brush loosens growth and soil from hard surfaces. It is useful when ordinary sweeping cannot lift established material from joints and edges.
More precise contact
Head positioning, angle and height let you direct the working tools at the deposit. Adjust the setup to the job instead of treating the entire surface with the same pressure.
A dedicated machine for small sites
The power unit and brush form one working machine. Folding handles and a compact layout suit contractors repeatedly moving between housing areas, paths and smaller car parks.
Brush sections and consumables
Choose the tool for the deposit and the surface.
Brush choice changes how the machine lifts, cuts and sweeps. Begin with the least aggressive tool and contact setting that achieves the finish you need.
Steel heavy-duty Versa
Item 750 000 135. Wider inner wires lift deposits while finer outer wires sweep. A useful all-round choice for moss, general weeds and soil on suitable hard surfaces.
Price per individual brush section.

Hausa replacement brush
Item 106 780 200. Stiff twisted-wire tools for heavier deposits and more demanding clearing. Requires the correct Hausa housing; this is the replacement brush, not the complete mounting assembly.
Price per individual brush section.

Nylon Versa
Item 700 000 135N. A less aggressive brush option for more delicate work. Confirm surface suitability and the result required; nylon is not a direct substitute for heavy steel extraction.
Price per individual brush section.
View replacement brush →The current Weedo II uses a six-tool plate. Confirm the fitted plate and holder before ordering a full set or converting brush types. For an older Weedo, check the serial number and parts revision.
Steel tools can mark vulnerable surfaces if the brush or setup is unsuitable. Test a small area first. Artificial surfaces need approval from the surface supplier and a suitable brush configuration.

Reach the edge, control the brush and load the machine.
Set the brush where the material is, then adjust contact to do useful work without loading the bristles unnecessarily.
Position and angle the head
Left, centre and right head positions help work along kerbs and buildings. Adjust brush angle and height to reach the deposit and direct the loosened material.
Set the debris guard
Reposition the adjustable guard to suit brush direction and the working edge. Keep people and vulnerable property clear of the working zone and follow the operating manual.
Adjust and fold the handlebar
Set handle height for the operator and adjust the chassis to the job. Folding handlebars reduce the transport envelope; confirm folded dimensions and use suitable loading equipment.
Control contact, not wheel speed. The brush lever engages the hydraulic tool. There is no separate powered-wheel transmission; operator guidance and the brush’s contact with the surface determine progress.
Complete the electric setup
Budget and plan for a working battery pair.
The Weedo II E listing requires two EGO 56 V batteries. The separately listed 12 Ah batteries provide 672 Wh each, or 1,344 Wh for the pair.
EGO 56 V · 12 Ah battery
Kersten item S1404. Price is for one battery; two are required for the listed Weedo II E setup. Plan spare pairs around site duration and charging access.
EGO 700 W fast charger
Kersten item S1405. The separately listed charger for Weedo II E batteries. Plan charging facilities and turnaround alongside the number of battery pairs.

Working time varies with brush load, contact, operating mode and battery condition. Ask for a demonstration on your material rather than planning the route around an unverified runtime.
The electric machine still drives the brush hydraulically. Battery power changes the power source; it does not turn the Weedo into an electrical weed-treatment machine.
A complete surface-cleaning job
Loosen the growth, then remove the arisings.
Inspect the surface
Check its condition, joints and drainage. Choose the brush and trial a small area before increasing contact.
Brush the deposits
Set head position, angle, height and guard for the working edge. Remove established growth and accumulated soil.
Collect the debris
The Weedo has no built-in collection hopper. Remove the loosened weeds, moss and soil with suitable sweeping and collection equipment.
Keep the surface clear
Return to regular sweeping. After joint cleaning, check paving stability and restore displaced joint material as required.

Match the model, serial number and revision. Ask for the correct electric-machine documentation for a Weedo II E; the petrol instruction manual does not replace its power-unit and battery guidance.

Dedicated weed brush or a wider equipment system?
Before you order
Your Weedo questions answered.
Is the Weedo II self-propelled?
It has no powered wheel drive. The operator guides the machine, and the rotating brush assists movement while in contact with the surface. It is a dedicated weed brush rather than a powered two-wheel tractor.
What is the difference between petrol and electric?
The power source changes: Weedo II uses a petrol engine, while Weedo II E uses an EGO battery motor. Both use hydraulic drive for the working brush and offer adjustable brush position, height and direction.
Are batteries included with the electric price?
Batteries and charger are separately listed. The Weedo II E requires two compatible EGO 56 V batteries. Confirm the complete supplied package; 12 Ah batteries and a 700 W charger are shown here.
How long will the electric machine run?
Working time depends on the batteries, operating mode, brush pressure, deposit and duty cycle. Ask Kersten to demonstrate the proposed battery setup on representative material before planning a full working route.
Does it collect the weeds and moss?
There is no built-in collection hopper. The brush loosens and moves the material; follow with suitable sweeping and collection to remove the arisings and growing medium from the surface.
Which brush should I choose?
Steel Versa is an all-round lift-and-sweep option. Hausa is more aggressive for tough deposits and needs the correct housing. Nylon suits less aggressive work where appropriate. Match the surface, deposit, holder and intended finish.
Can it clean block paving or tarmac?
These are core applications. Inspect the surface, choose the appropriate brush and trial the setup. On block paving, check joint material and stability after cleaning. Avoid assuming an aggressive wire tool suits every surface.
Can I use it on artificial turf?
Only with a configuration and method approved for that particular surface. Nylon is a less aggressive brush option, but suitability still depends on the surface construction and the work required. Get advice before using steel tools on artificial surfaces.
