Choose the system before the individual parts
A linkage lifts.
A PTO or hydraulic supply powers.
For most front attachments, the complete installation is:
The linkage provides the tractor-side lift and coupling. The ABR bracket connects the attachment to that coupling. The drive system provides working power. Buying one does not automatically provide the others.
Check the interface, not just the BX name. The site lists both Category K and Category 0 BX linkage kits. Their mounting systems and matching ABR brackets must be selected as a complete combination.
BX231, BX261 or BX2350: why the exact model matters
The Category K kit lists BX231 / BX261; the Category 0 kit lists BX231 / BX2350. The front PTO kit lists all three, but also names a specific required linkage. These separate listings do not establish that every kit combination is interchangeable. Send the model, serial number and photographs so the complete installation can be checked.
1. Rear PTO: avoid a front conversion
The HKM40 rear sweeper uses the rear linkage and PTO. This can be the simplest route when the rear working position suits the site. The WE gravel renovator also uses the rear linkage, with its own drive requirements.
2. Front mechanical PTO: use the mid drive
The listed BX front PTO kit extends the mid PTO forward at 2,500 rpm. Match attachment speed, rotation, shaft and gearbox. The kit listing says it cannot operate with the mid-mounted mower fitted.
3. Front hydraulics: check usable flow
The 8 l/min FKM37 can be a lower-flow option; the published BX2350 installation uses tractor hydraulics. The KM45 hydraulic model requires 20 l/min and uses a rear PTO power pack in the BX231 configurator.
Want the mid mower to remain available?
A rear PTO hydraulic pack can power a front hydraulic attachment without taking its drive from the mid PTO. Confirm deck clearance, hydraulic routing, lift controls and the complete operating arrangement for your BX.

FKHB-KUB-BX lists BX231 / BX261. This is the Category K route shown in the BX231 sweeper configurator; specify its matching attachment bracket.

Can a BX run a hydraulic sweeper without an extra power pack?
Sometimes. The published BX2350 example uses the 8 l/min FKM 12537 H with extended auxiliary hydraulics. The 20 l/min KM 13045 H uses a dedicated rear PTO hydraulic pack in the BX231 configurator. Confirm available continuous flow, pressure, return and cooling for your tractor and complete accessory package.
Can I keep my mid-mounted mower deck?
The listed front PTO kit is driven from the mid PTO and cannot operate with the mid mower fitted. A rear PTO hydraulic pack avoids using that mid PTO for the front attachment; check the particular deck, linkage, hoses and operating arrangement before committing to a combined installation.
Are Category K, Category 0 and Category 1 the same fitting?
No. These labels refer to different coupling arrangements. Match the tractor linkage to the attachment-side ABR bracket, including the bracket family required by the implement. An attachment does not normally bolt straight to the front linkage.
Which is better: an FKM37, KM45 or rear HKM40?
The FKM37 gives a 37 cm brush and low hydraulic-flow requirement. The KM45 gives a larger 45 cm brush with front mechanical or hydraulic drive. The HKM40 uses the rear PTO and rear linkage, avoiding a front linkage conversion. Choose around the material, collection needs, access and equipment already fitted.
Do all these attachments fit every BX?
No. BX models and generations have different installation requirements. The product and case-study links provide starting points, not blanket compatibility. Confirm engine / PTO power, hydraulic services, linkage geometry, axle loads, ballast and the complete attachment weight including collected material or gas bottles.
What should I send for a quotation?
Send the exact BX model, year or serial number, photos of front and rear mounting areas, details of the loader and mower deck, existing hydraulic services, and the job and access width. Tell us whether the mid deck must remain available, plus any collection or angling options you need.
