Choose the system before the individual parts
A linkage lifts.
A PTO or hydraulic supply powers.
For most front attachments, the complete installation is:
The linkage provides the lift and coupling. The ABR bracket connects the attachment to that coupling. The drive system provides the working power. We specify all of them together for your tractor.
Front linkage with Cat 0 A-frame. The LX takes a front linkage, with a front PTO available, and the KM45 connects through an ABR bracket matched to its A-frame, as in our LX case study.
LX351 or LX401?
Both take the same attachment range. Before we quote, we check your exact version and serial number, confirm current prices and delivery times, and look for any quirks on your tractor, so what arrives fits first time.
1. Rear PTO: avoid a front conversion
The LX401 has a 540 / 540 ECO rear PTO and a three-point hitch lifting 1,150 kg. Rear sweepers, gravel renovators and mowers work from the back of the tractor.
2. Front hydraulics: keep the mower deck
Our LX case study runs a KM 15045 H from the front hydraulic services, and the deck stays on. The LX401’s implement pump gives 20.4 l/min, matching the 20 l/min the KM45 needs.
3. Front mechanical PTO: for blowers and snow
A front PTO drives mechanical attachments such as the LBV leaf blower, Cerruti snow blower and UB 6080 MH weed brush. We match the gearbox, speed and rotation.
Check the lift capacity
Allow for the attachment, bracket, a full collector, water tanks or gas bottles when specifying the complete setup. We confirm the front linkage’s capacity for your tractor.

What can an LX do with Kersten attachments?
With a front linkage and the right drive, an LX becomes a year-round tool carrier. It can sweep, remove weeds and moss without herbicide, blow leaves, treat weeds thermally, renovate gravel and clear snow, and still cut grass in summer.
Can I keep the mower deck on and sweep?
Yes. Our LX case study runs a KM 15045 H from the tractor’s front hydraulic services, so the mower deck stays fitted.
Front or rear sweeper?
A front sweeper gives you a clear view and works into corners; it is the setup in our LX case study. A rear KM 15052 H or HKM 15040 M leaves the front free for a loader. We’ll recommend the right one for your site.
