How it fits together
From tractor power to a working KM45 sweeper
The rear PTO supplies an independent hydraulic circuit, the Category K linkage provides lift and the ABR 45 KD bracket connects the KM45 to the tractor.
Kubota BX231
The tractor supplies the carrier, rear PTO and chassis mounting points.
Power pack and hoses
The dedicated rear PTO pack provides the oil flow needed by the sweeper and routes it to the front.
Category K linkage
Kersten's compact Category K interface provides lift, lower and the tractor-side quick-attach frame.
ABR 45 KD
The sweeper-side bracket sits between the Category K linkage and the KM45, allowing the sweeper platform to use different carrier interfaces.
KM 13045 H
The 130 cm hydraulic sweeper provides the main brushing action for open sweeping or use with selected accessories.
Configure the task
Add collection, edge-cleaning, dust-control or guard equipment as required.

A real BX installation context
Kersten's BX2350 case study explains that a KM45 requires more hydraulic power than the tractor supplies as standard, so the PTO hydraulic pack, hose extension and ABR 45 KD-M are added to the package.

Frequently asked questions
Choosing the right BX231 sweeper setup
Why does the BX231 need a separate hydraulic power pack?
The KM 13045 H needs more hydraulic oil flow than the BX231's standard supply provides for this application. The rear PTO-driven pack creates a dedicated hydraulic circuit and sends the oil to the front through the hose-extension set.
What is Kersten Category K?
Category K is Kersten's compact front-linkage and quick-attach size. On this package it is the tractor-side lift and attachment interface.
Why is the ABR 45 KD bracket separate from the linkage?
The ABR bracket is the sweeper-side adaptor. It sits between the tractor linkage and the KM45 sweeper, allowing the same sweeper platform to be matched to different linkage or lift-arm systems by using the appropriate bracket.
Are the collector, gully brush and dust system optional?
Yes. These accessories change how the KM45 handles debris and dust. The hydraulic power pack, Category K linkage, ABR bracket and sweeper remain part of the core BX231 setup.
Can I order the complete setup directly online?
The complete package should be technically confirmed and quoted because tractor, hydraulic, capacity and installation details can vary.
