Using your machine for grass cutting

Grass cutting is one of the most intensive jobs for maintenance teams in summer months. The Kersten machines can be utilised through the summer by fitting them with our range of specialised grass cutting equipment.

The K2100 can be fitted with a cylinder mower for commercial mowing applications. Cylinder lawn mowers give a fantastic finish; they cut the grass very cleanly without ripping it. With low vibration and low noise, our machines make the job less stressful.

The clean lines of the side plates allow the operator to mow close to obstacles to reduce secondary trimming and the compact design allows the mower to squeeze through a 36” gate for mowing in housing estates and other narrow access areas.

The full width adjustable roller allows the cutting height to be finely set between 13mm and 50mm. The high clip rate gives a quality finish at forward speeds of up to 7km/h.

The UBS range can be fitted with flail mowers for cutting heavy unwanted vegetation. Kersten’s robust and easily adjustable, flail attachments can be used on a wide variety of two-wheeled tractors with widths from 65cm up to 1.2 metres and a choice of either ‘Y’ or ‘boot’ type flails, for a rough or fine finish.

The Kersten flails have lots of space above the flails for dealing with large material, the wheel motors in the UBS Hydro range make the machine extremely capable on slopes and the new “Comfort Drive” control system makes operation as simple as the touch of a button.
