Current used and ex-demonstration equipment
This area updates from the page inventory. When no machines are listed, use the alert form below so the requirement is recorded rather than relying on repeated visits.
Available machines will be shown with their individual condition, specification, price and enquiry route.
No used machines are currently listed on this page
Used stock can sell quickly. Register the equipment you need and Kersten can respond with a relevant used option when available, or discuss hire, demonstration and new-equipment alternatives.
Listing transparency
What a useful used-equipment listing should tell you
A lower purchase price is only useful when the specification, condition and support position are clear enough to make a confident decision.
Identity and history
Make, model, year where known, serial information, recorded hours or usage and previous application.
Condition stated plainly
Working condition, cosmetic condition, known defects, recent service work and any work still recommended.
What is included
Power unit, attachments, mounting brackets, controls, hoses, accessories, manuals and transport items.
Commercial terms
Price, VAT position, collection or delivery, warranty or support position and any finance availability for that machine.
Do not wait for the perfect listing
Tell Kersten what would actually fit the job
A useful stock alert is based on the application, carrier, required width, budget, location and timing, not only a product name.
- Used, ex-demonstration or either
- Power unit, attachment or complete setup
- Existing carrier and fitment details
- Budget and purchase timescale
- Location and delivery requirement

Stock alert request
Register the machine or attachment you need
Completing the operational details makes it easier to identify a suitable machine when one becomes available.
Finance enquiry
Match the funding conversation to the equipment
Finance is shown as available on selected Kersten product pages. This enquiry gathers the information needed to discuss relevant options without presenting an unverified monthly payment or rate.
Prepare the commercial brief
Start with the machine, workload and purchase timing
The same equipment price can support very different conversations depending on deposit, term preference, organisation type and delivery timing.
- Selected new or used equipment
- Expected purchase price or budget
- Deposit available
- Preferred term for discussion
- Organisation and trading details

Finance information request
Prepare a finance discussion
This form creates a detailed enquiry for Kersten. It is not an application, approval, finance offer or quotation.
Trade-in assessment
Give the valuation team enough detail to assess the machine
Kersten publicly offers trade-in assessment for existing thermal weed-control machines against supported replacement equipment. Other Kersten and professional groundcare machines can also be submitted for case-by-case review, but acceptance is not guaranteed.
Useful valuation evidence
Condition is easier to assess when the history is clear
The first review is stronger when the machine identity, working status, hours, service history, attachments and photographs are available.
- Make, model, serial number and year
- Hours, mileage or approximate usage
- Starts, drives and operates as expected
- Known faults and recent repairs
- Attachments, brackets and controls included
- Clear photographs from several angles

Initial valuation request
Submit your current machine
Kersten can use this information to decide whether a further inspection, photographs or technical conversation are needed.
How the trade-in route works
A valuation starts with evidence, not a single headline number
The final route depends on machine identity, condition, supportability, transport, market demand and the proposed replacement.
Submit the details
Provide the machine identity, working status, history, included equipment, location and proposed replacement.
Initial review
Kersten assesses whether the machine is relevant for trade-in and requests photographs or additional technical details where needed.
Inspection if required
An inspection or live demonstration may be needed before condition and commercial terms can be confirmed.
Replacement proposal
Any agreed trade-in value is considered alongside the selected replacement equipment, delivery and other commercial terms.
Other ways to reduce purchase risk
Used equipment is one route, not the only route
When the right used machine is not available, a short hire, site demonstration or compatible attachment for an existing carrier may solve the requirement sooner.
Hire before committing
Use serviced Kersten machinery on the actual site and ask about purchase options at the end of the hire.
View Machinery HireBook a demonstration
Test the machine against the material, surface, access constraints and operators who will use it.
Book a DemonstrationUse an existing carrier
Check whether a sweeper, weed brush, snow plough or other attachment can be fitted to machinery already in the fleet.

Used equipment, finance and trade-in FAQs
Why is there no used equipment listed?
Used stock changes quickly and the current public inventory may be empty. The stock-alert form records the application, machine and budget so Kersten can respond when a relevant option is available.
Does every used machine include a warranty?
No single warranty position should be assumed. The applicable warranty or support terms must be stated and confirmed for the individual listing before purchase.
Is finance available on every used or new machine?
Finance is advertised on selected Kersten product pages, but availability and terms depend on the selected equipment, applicant information, approval and final documentation. The finance form on this page is an enquiry only.
Can Kersten value equipment from another manufacturer?
Kersten publicly offers assessment of existing thermal weed-control machines from different suppliers when discussing supported replacement equipment. Other professional groundcare equipment can be submitted for case-by-case review, but acceptance is not guaranteed.
What photographs are useful for a trade-in review?
Provide clear views of the complete machine, identification or serial plate, controls, engine or power system, working components, attachment points, tyres or brushes, hours display and any damage or known fault.
Can a trade-in be combined with a finance enquiry?
It can be raised as one commercial requirement. The trade-in machine still needs its own assessment, and any finance discussion remains subject to the replacement equipment, applicant information, approval and final terms.
What happens if the machine I need is not available used?
Kersten can discuss new equipment, machinery hire, a site demonstration or an attachment for an existing carrier. The best route depends on the application, access, workload, timing and budget.
Are you looking for a machine, or trying to replace one?
Start with the current requirement. Kersten can then connect the used-stock, finance, hire, demonstration or trade-in route that best fits the equipment and timing.
