Sean's passion is in helping managers of open spaces to re-think the way that their surfaces are maintained - assisting them to achieve high standards of maintenance with the most sustainable Nature Based Solutions available today. He enjoys sharing the latest thinking on the topic in articles, books and presentations in order to inspire a change in the way land is managed.

Nature is forever working to reclaim our built environment and must be managed in order for us to live in harmony with it.

To that end, Sean feels it is important to really understand the way nature works and manage the surfaces in a way that best allows both nature and urban landscapes to thrive. His methods rely on basic preventative processes, which minimise the need for remedial treatments and he enjoys assisting custodians of our environment to find the most effective means to do both.
