The linkage provides the lift and coupling. The ABR bracket connects the attachment to that coupling. The drive system provides the working power. We specify all of them together for your tractor.
Matev front linkages for the 3R and 3E. FL JD 3R fits the 3038R, 3039R, 3045R and 3046R with a Cat 0 A-frame, which matches the ABR 45 KD bracket used by KM45 sweepers. The 3025E, 3038E and 3039E use FL JD 30383925E, with a Cat 0 or Cat 1 extension kit.
3R or 3E: which linkage?
The 3038R, 3039R, 3045R and 3046R share the FL JD 3R kit; the 3025E, 3038E and 3039E use FL JD 30383925E. Before we quote, we check your exact version and serial number, confirm current prices and delivery times, and look for any quirks on your tractor, so what arrives fits first time.
1. Rear PTO: avoid a front conversion
The 3039R has a 540 rpm rear PTO and a Category 1 hitch lifting 1,147 kg at the ends. Rear sweepers, gravel renovators, mowers and the hydraulic kit in our verge-brush case study run from here.
2. Front hydraulics: keep the mower deck
Our 3 Series case study runs a KM 15045 H from the front hydraulic services, the most cost-effective route. The 3039R’s 32.6 l/min implement pump comfortably covers the 20 l/min the KM45 needs; the BG3 hydraulic extension kit brings the services to the front.
3. Front mechanical PTO: for blowers and snow
The JD 3R front PTO kit is available at 1,000 rpm (either rotation) or 2,000 rpm, for the LBV leaf blower, Cerruti snow blower and UB 6080 MH weed brush. We match the gearbox, speed and rotation.

Questions before you choose
What can a 3 Series do with Kersten attachments?
With a front linkage and the right drive, a 3 Series becomes a year-round tool carrier. It can sweep, remove weeds and moss without herbicide, blow leaves, treat weeds thermally, renovate gravel and clear snow, and still cut grass in summer.
Can I keep the mower deck on and sweep?
Yes, with a hydraulic front sweeper or any rear PTO attachment. A front PTO sweeper driven from the mid PTO can’t run with a mid deck fitted, which is why most 3 Series sweepers run hydraulically.
Front or rear sweeper?
A front sweeper gives you a clear view and works into corners; the front KM 15045 H in our 3 Series case study gives a clear view and works into corners; a rear HKM 15040 M or KM 15052 H keeps the front free for a loader. We’ll recommend the right one for your site.
Will these attachments fit my 3 Series?
